Nikita Pashenkov was born in 1975 in Soviet Union and immigrated to United States in 1991. He graduated from the School of Architecture at Princeton University, spent two years working as a designer for web developers methodfive and PlumbDesign in New York, then continued his education in John Maeda's Aesthetics + Computation Group at the MIT Media Lab. In 2002, he worked on an independent project as an artist-in-residence at Eyebeam Atelier in New York. Since 2003, he has been employed by GK Tech in Tokyo, Japan. His research and independent projects have been exhibited at the Cooper Union, Eyebeam Atelier, Museum of Modern Art (New York), Institute of Contemporary Art (London), and Ginza Graphic Gallery (Tokyo).
